Call2Home is a service program developed by Crosslynx B.V., formerly Gannexion B.V., based in Almere, the Netherlands. Call2Home was created in response to a request of Mindef to provide a secure means for soldiers deployed on military missions to stay in touch with loved ones back home.

Over the years, Call2Home became a well-known name within the Dutch MoD, synonymous with the provision of E-Welfare services. These services enabled deployed personnel to maintain safe and private telephone contact with their families, reinforcing vital emotional bonds during missions and exercises.
As internet access became more widespread, Call2Home evolved to include secure internet connectivity. This allowed military personnel to stay even more connected—not only through communication, but also by managing personal affairs while abroad. To enhance morale and a sense of togetherness, Call2Home also offered access to live Dutch television broadcasts, enabling troops to share familiar moments in real time.
In addition to these services, Call2Home supported video teleconferencing (VTC) sessions at various locations across the Netherlands. These gatherings gave families the opportunity to receive updates about ongoing missions and the well-being of their loved ones in the field—helping them feel supported and included throughout the deployment period.
Beyond E-Welfare services, Call2Home expanded its capabilities to include secure Operational internet. This enabled the safe exchange of confidential information and ensured that contractors in the field had reliable access to the internet to carry out their essential duties.
